Valerie is the former Vice President, People for Tesla®. At Tesla, Valerie helped lead the company’s growth from 50k to over 100k employees.

Prior to Tesla, Valerie was an executive in Governance and Compliance for category-leading companies, including serving as the VP Legal for GoTo Foods®, owner of beloved F&B brands including Cinnabon® and Auntie Anne’s®, and the VP Franchise Compliance for both Wyndham Hotel Group® and Anywhere Real Estate®, owner of global real estate powerhouses including Sotheby’s®, Coldwell Banker®, and Century 21®.

Valerie is admitted to practice law in New York, Texas and Washington, D.C. She resides in the Austin, Texas area with her wonderful husband and their three amazing sons. She is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and St. John’s University School of Law. Valerie is a member of the Huston-Tillotson University Board of Trustees and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
