Architecture Excellence (ArchX) is a cohort-based learning program that will help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to excel as an architect in the ServiceNow ecosystem.
This four-week cohort-based program combines self-paced learning, application activities, and cohort engagement, requiring a time commitment of 4-6 hours weekly.
The program covers topics such as architecture standards, ServiceNow methodologies and frameworks, and change management for ServiceNow. As a member of the cohort, learners will apply their learning to real-world scenarios.

WHO IS THE PROGRAM FOR?
Architecture Excellence (ArchX) is tailored for individuals with 1 - 3 years of experience who are earlier in their architect career journeys or experienced professionals looking to transition into architecture roles.
Whether you're seeking to enhance your existing skills or pivot into the architecture field, ArchX equips you with the foundational knowledge and expertise necessary to succeed as a ServiceNow architect.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
- Identify the objective of the architect role and potential challenges.
- Follow a change management plan utilizing the ServiceNow Change Enablement Project Guidance Template. Articulate the value of following these guidelines to project team members and stakeholders.
- Lead requirements gathering interviews and process meetings and capture the outcomes to design ServiceNow architecture.
- Capture current state business capability map. Design an architecture blueprint for implementing ServiceNow.
- Effectively communicate with customers, developers, team members and stakeholders.
- Create a business strategy for customers. Execute the implementation and go-live strategy and document processes being implemented.
- Utilize ServiceNow methodologies and frameworks to enhance customers' organizational process, improve service delivery and optimize workflow management. Be a trusted advisor on the ServiceNow platform.
- Utilize data strategy leading practices.
- Guide customers to define governance policies and mitigate risk.

In this program, we use the term architect in a broad sense, to refer to anyone who designs, builds, or oversees solutions using the ServiceNow platform. Whether you are a solution architect, a technical architect, a platform architect, or any other kind of architect, you will benefit from this program.
A cohort-based program is a structured learning experience where a group of learners progress through the program together. This approach fosters a sense of community, collaboration, and support among participants as they engage in shared activities, discussions, and learning objectives. The ArchX program will have fixed start and end dates, allowing participants to form bonds, exchange ideas, and grow together over the duration of the program.
No. You do not need to attend the kickoff to participate in the inaugural cohort. However, the kickoff will only take place live at knowledge. There will not be streaming or recordings.
No. To attend the ArchX kickoff, you must register for Knowledge.
Participants must have their Certified System Administrator credential and at least one Certified Implementation Specialist credential.
ArchX is a foundational program that covers the core principles and leading practices of architecture excellence. It is designed for Architects early in their architect career and experience, who have 1 - 3 years of experience and are earlier in their architect career journeys than a CTA or CMA.
